My Nature Photography
ActivitiesCinemaNeed to relax from all the activities. Want to catch a movie that you have been too busy to see. This is the place. (Photo) Seats 151 ChapelOn board chapel for small weddings and vow renewals. (Photo) Seats 24 LibraryAs one would expect, the selection would need to be limited by space, but the selection seemed adequate. My kids both easily found books to read and I found several books of interest. (Photo) Seats 13 Oasis PoolThe main pool. Two slides and 4 hot tubs. A smaller pool for the kids is located between the slides. The pool gets some nice wave (over one foot high) action as the ship pitches in the sea. If you go with the flow and don't fight the waves it is great fun. The pool is salt water. (Photo) One of the other nice things in this area are the two clocks. These clocks are visible from parts of deck 12 and 13 also. You will have trouble finding other clocks on board. Kid's Area and PoolSpace theme featuring rocket slides (Photo) and paddling pool (Photo). Also has a Jacuzzi. (Photo) Fitness CenterGym equipment to work off that extra dessert you had to taste. Part of the Barong Spa. Juice bar is accessed from this location. (Photo) Meeting RoomsMeeting room area featuring 4 individual rooms (New York (12), London (10), Paris (10) & Rome (10)) that can be used together or separately. They were actually used a lot more than I thought they would be, but still available if your group would need one. (Photo) Reading RoomA quiet place to get away and read a book. (Photo) Seats 29 Shuffles Card/Game RoomCards and reading seemed to be the main activities in this room. Checkers and Chess were available. (Photo) Seats 44 Life Styles RoomThis room was used just like shuffles. (Photo) Video ZoneVideo Arcade, first night they had free play. (Photo) Seats 25 DiningBBQPoolside BBQ with ribs, chicken, steak, brats, pork chops and fried fish. The standard side dishes were also available. (Photo) La TrattoriaThemed dining requires reservations, but not an extra fee. Casual Italian restaurant serving pasta, pizza and other traditional Italian fare. (Photo - Menu) Seats 102 The GrillPoolside buffet that runs most of the time. Food ranges from burgers to salads. Lines usually very short. (Photo) Seats 253 Market CafeBuffet dining, with all the pro's and con's. Featuring prepared-to-order omelets, waffles, fruit, soups, ethnic specialties, and pasta. (Photo 1, Photo 2) I like to sneak thru and grab a quick dessert all day and night. Seats 500 (398 Dinner) Ice Cream BarNot poolside as the original Sprinkles location. To find it go towards the stern on the starboard side. When you reach the door to exit to the Kids Pool area, turn around and there it is. The scoops and cones are small, but double scoops and/or two cones never were a problem. Flavors changed each day, with one being a low fat choice. (Photo) Bars and ClubsSpinnaker LoungeLarge windows and multi-level seating surrond the stage in this room. (Photo) The stage can also be used as a dance floor. Two adjoining rooms (Port Room & Starboard Room) are available for private parties. Many activities took place here during the day such as hula lessons and lei making. If seeing a show here, be sure to get here early as the support beams can block your view. Windows behind the "Red Curtain" allow views of the bridge. (Port, Starboard) Seats 504 Barong Juice BarJuice Bar that doubles as the Ice Cream Bar out the other side. Access is via the exercise room. Healthy on one side and not so much on the other. (Photo) If you look carefully you can see them serving the ice cream out the back. Seats 10 Topsiders BarWhat's a pool with a bar? Topsiders makes sure you never have to find out. (Photo)
