Tour the Star

In general the ship was very nice.  Varnish all the time.  The only area I say wear issues were the elevators.  Brail numbers missing, call buttons missing, floor indicator malfunction (at least 2 elevators).

The colors were often bright as seen in these two hallways - Cabin Area, Outside Le Bistro.  Or as seen in the ceiling over Gatsby's.  The art on the staircases was varied from deck to deck.

Handy maps by elevators made it easy to find your location and move about the ship.  Remember which color your door is and you will be able to quickly pick the correct side of the ship when returning to your room - red doors for port and blue for starboard.  Use the handy pocket map to locate the proper deck, available in your room and extra copies at the reception desk in the grand atrium.

We found the larger dining venues to be louder than we would have liked.  Sometimes the staff would have trouble hearing us over the background sound levels.  Some sound absorbing cloth features would help.

Restaurant Overview Sheet was provided to give us a brief description of the dining options available to us.  It was a handy quick overview that we used in conjunction with the Menus and Freestyle Daily to pick our meals.

Of course I have the obligatory views off the bow, showing the crew hot tubs, and the stern.
